Job Overview
We are a dynamic and fast-growing fashion design brand located in Lekki, Lagos, looking to hire a tech-savvy and highly creative Head of Marketing to lead our brand’s marketing direction. This senior leadership role is perfect for a driven professional with a proven track record in fashion marketing, digital content creation, and strategic execution across online and offline platforms.
As Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for shaping our brand identity, driving revenue growth, and leading a talented marketing team. You will collaborate closely with the Lead Designer, Sales Lead, Merchandising, and Operations teams to execute innovative campaigns that align with our brand values and resonate with our fashion-forward audience.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative, is results-oriented, and can own the end-to-end marketing process with minimal oversight. You’ll thrive in this role if you’re passionate about fashion, thrive on data-driven marketing, and love storytelling through content.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and uphold the brand identity across all customer touchpoints and marketing channels.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy and a structured daily/monthly content calendar aligned with brand and business goals.
- Lead all content production efforts, including product photoshoots, social media videos, website visuals, and email marketing materials — ensuring product documentation is ready before each collection launch (new collections are released bi-weekly).
- Oversee both digital and traditional marketing campaigns, such as:
- Live sales and pre-recorded sales sessions (e.g. SHEIN/River Island formats)
- Fashion styling tips, influencer collaborations, “deal of the week” activations
- Sponsored ads, SEO optimisation, email campaigns, and loyalty initiatives
- Improve the online shopping experience via UI/UX enhancements, conversion optimization, and data-driven campaign iterations.
- Monitor and analyze sales trends in collaboration with the Sales Team to refine campaign effectiveness.
- Align marketing strategies with the Design, Operations, Sales, and Buying teams to stay responsive to customer expectations and market trends.
- Plan and execute seasonal product launches and brand-aligned social impact campaigns (e.g. new perfume line, indigenous fabric showcases, CSR initiatives).
- Monitor digital trends, competitor strategies, and emerging platforms to maintain relevance and competitiveness in the fashion space.
- Manage PR and media engagement, including press releases, events, and media coverage.
- Lead efforts in pricing strategy, promotional campaigns, and channel-specific marketing for retail, e-commerce, and wholesale.
- Foster strategic partnerships to expand brand reach (including online marketplaces).
- Track and report performance to the Directors regularly, with insights and strategic recommendations.
- Spearhead engagement growth on TikTok and other emerging platforms.
- Build and maintain engaged WhatsApp or Telegram communities to deepen customer loyalty.
- Bring fun, creativity, and consistency to content and storytelling across platforms.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a marketing leadership role — experience in fashion or retail marketing is highly preferred.
- Strong grasp of e-commerce, digital marketing, and customer acquisition strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a creative team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly analytical, organized, and able to use data to inform strategy.
- Deep passion for fashion and a strong sense of visual aesthetics and trends.
Immediate Priority Goals (First 3 Months)
- Launch and grow the brand’s TikTok account.
- Build and engage a WhatsApp or Telegram community.
- Enhance social media engagement through live sales, giveaways, styling tips, and creative content activations.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₦400,000 – ₦500,000 Gross per Month
