The SEO Specialist will play a central role in developing, implementing, and monitoring effective SEO strategies that drive traffic, improve rankings, and increase conversions. This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, a passion for digital marketing, and the ability to work independently in a fully remote setup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct keyword research using tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Google Keyword Planner.

  • Develop and execute both on-page and off-page SEO strategies.

  • Optimize website content, meta tags, and headings for search visibility.

  • Perform technical SEO audits and recommend improvements.

  • Build high-quality backlinks through outreach, guest posting, and collaborations.

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on website performance using Google Analytics and Search Console.

  • Collaborate with content writers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content.

  • Stay up-to-date with search engine algorithm updates and industry best practices.

  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.

  • Assist in improving local SEO for clients targeting specific regions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Communications, or related field.

  • 2–4 years of proven SEO experience (agency or in-house).

  • Strong understanding of Google algorithms, ranking factors, and technical SEO.

  • Proficiency in SEO tools: SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog.

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript is a plus.

  • Experience with WordPress, Shopify, or other CMS platforms.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
