Role Overview – Senior Product Manager (Onboarding & Identity)
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Product Manager to lead our Onboarding & Identity team. In this strategic role, you will drive the vision, development, and continuous improvement of Kuda’s customer onboarding journey.

Your mission will be to optimize the onboarding funnel, reduce friction, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver a seamless account creation and upgrade experience that fuels our growth. You’ll work cross-functionally with Design, Engineering, Data, and Marketing teams to shape a roadmap of innovative features and experiments that delight users and scale efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the strategy and roadmap for onboarding and identity, aligned with company OKRs and team vision
  • Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and analysts to execute high-impact features and experiments
  • Monitor and optimize onboarding funnel metrics, sharing insights with leadership and using data to inform decisions
  • Continuously improve the user onboarding experience—from sign-up to account upgrades
  • Ensure product initiatives meet regulatory and operational standards through collaboration with stakeholders
  • Design, test, and roll out onboarding experiments grounded in research, user feedback, and analytics
  • Define success metrics, track performance, and validate impact with real users
  • Effectively coordinate resources and delivery timelines to ensure on-time, high-quality execution

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with a focus on user onboarding journeys
  • Strong understanding of mobile platforms and ecosystems
  • Data-driven mindset with experience running A/B tests and making insights-led decisions
  • Proven track record of launching impactful product features that drive growth
  • Comfortable analyzing data from various sources to identify trends and opportunities
  • Skilled in prioritizing MVPs, managing trade-offs, and shipping iteratively
  • Highly curious and proactive—asks the right questions and explores bold ideas to drive outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fintech or digital financial services
  • Familiarity with African markets and users
  • Understanding of KYC and regulatory compliance in onboarding flows
  • Strong passion for exceptional user experiences and intuitive design
