Job Description

As a Remote Online Tutor at EduBridge Academy, you will be responsible for delivering interactive, engaging, and effective lessons to students of different age groups. You will teach via virtual platforms, provide personalized academic support, and track each learner’s progress. EduBridge emphasizes student-centered teaching, meaning tutors should be patient, adaptable, and passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver online lessons to students based on agreed curriculum or subject area.
Develop lesson plans and tailor teaching methods to individual student needs.
Assess and monitor student progress regularly.
Provide feedback to parents/guardians on learners’ performance.
Maintain professionalism and create a supportive online classroom environment.
Use interactive learning tools (Google Classroom, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.) to enhance teaching.
Prepare students for national and international examinations (where applicable).

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Education or relevant field (e.g., English, Mathematics, Sciences, Computer Science).
Master’s Degree in Education or relevant specialization is an added advantage.
At least 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience (classroom or online).
Demonstrated expertise in subject matter (Math, English, Sciences, Coding, or Exam Prep).
Strong digital literacy and ability to use online teaching tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage and motivate students in a virtual learning environment.

Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years teaching/tutoring experience and proven success in helping students improve academically. Experience with exam preparation (WAEC, JAMB, SAT, IELTS) will give you a competitive edge.
