Role Overview
The Remote Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage into polished, engaging content for clients across various industries. You will work with creative directors, producers, and graphic designers to deliver videos optimized for digital platforms, television, and events.
Key Responsibilities

Edit raw footage into professional video content.

Add sound effects, voiceovers, and background music.

Apply transitions, motion graphics, and special effects.

Collaborate with the creative team to meet project requirements.

Ensure video content is optimized for YouTube, social media, and streaming platforms.

Maintain video libraries and archives.

Stay updated with trends in video editing and digital storytelling.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies, Film, or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

Strong portfolio of video editing work.

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

Understanding of storytelling and pacing.

Attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
Desirable Attributes
