Role Overview

As a Remote Research Analyst, you will be at the heart of IPA’s mission — gathering data, producing policy briefs, and generating insights that matter. You will work remotely with a team of researchers, editors, and project managers to deliver timely and credible reports.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Policy Analysis: Interpret complex datasets and turn them into actionable insights for policymakers and stakeholders.

  • Report Writing: Draft research briefs, white papers, policy recommendations, and background reports in clear, concise language.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior researchers and policy officers to align findings with donor requirements and project goals.

  • Presentation of Findings: Assist in creating infographics, presentations, and visual summaries that make research accessible to wider audiences.

  • Monitoring & Evaluation: Support impact measurement by evaluating the effectiveness of existing policies and interventions.

  • Knowledge Management: Maintain organized records of research, sources, and data for institutional knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Economics, Public Policy, International Relations, or related fields (Master’s degree is a plus).

  • 2–3 years of experience in research, data analysis, or policy development.

  • Strong ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills with a proven ability to draft reports and policy briefs.
