Role Overview
The Remote Online Tutor will provide personalized learning support to students in various subjects including Mathematics, English, Sciences, and exam preparation courses such as WAEC, NECO, JAMB, and IELTS. Tutors are expected to deliver engaging lessons, track student progress, and adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver live online lessons to students in chosen subjects.

Prepare teaching materials, lesson plans, and assignments.

Monitor and assess students’ academic performance through quizzes and feedback.

Provide extra support to struggling students, ensuring they grasp difficult concepts.

Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress.

Use interactive digital tools to create an engaging virtual learning experience.

Participate in training sessions to improve teaching skills and adopt new digital methods.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Education or a subject-related field.

Proven 2–5 years teaching/tutoring experience (online or in-person).

Strong command of English and excellent communication skills.

Ability to use e-learning platforms such as Google Classroom, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams.

Patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for student success.

Good organizational skills to prepare lessons and manage class schedules.
Desirable Attributes

Experience with exam preparation coaching (JAMB, WAEC, SAT, IELTS, TOEFL).

Ability to teach multiple subjects is an advantage.
