Role Overview
The Remote IT Support Specialist will be the first line of defense in assisting clients with their technical issues, troubleshooting systems, and ensuring smooth IT operations. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to deliver professional support in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support to clients via email, chat, and remote desktop tools.

Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.

Install, configure, and update applications and operating systems remotely.

Manage IT support tickets and ensure timely resolution.

Assist with system backups, security patches, and performance monitoring.

Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when necessary.

Document all support interactions for knowledge base improvement.

Maintain excellent communication with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Proven experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.

Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS systems.

Familiarity with cloud services such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or AWS.

Experience with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL are an added advantage.
