Role Overview
The Remote HR & Recruitment Specialist will serve as the link between businesses seeking talent and candidates looking for new opportunities. The role requires someone who can manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from job posting and candidate sourcing to interviews, onboarding, and employee support. In addition, you will be responsible for providing HR advisory services to clients and ensuring compliance with local labor laws. Since this is a remote role, it demands excellent communication skills, self-motivation, and a structured approach to work.

  • Collaborate with client companies to understand hiring needs and draft job descriptions that align with their business goals.

  • Source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, networking platforms, and direct outreach strategies.

  • Screen applicants, conduct interviews, and shortlist qualified candidates for client review.

  • Coordinate the interview process between clients and potential hires, ensuring smooth communication.

  • Provide HR advisory services such as drafting employee contracts, handling HR policies, and guiding clients on Nigerian labor law.

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies that attract top-tier talent in competitive industries.

  • Maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates to foster long-term partnerships.

  • Use HR software and applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage recruitment pipelines effectively.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.

  • Professional certifications such as CIPM, SHRM, or CIPD will be a strong advantage.

  • At least 3 years of proven experience in HR or recruitment roles, preferably with exposure to multiple industries.

  • Strong understanding of recruitment trends, talent sourcing strategies, and HR best practices.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to assess candidates beyond their CVs.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency with HR software, ATS tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
