Position Overview: Business Development Analyst – Export

Location: Remote (Nigeria)

Job Type: Full-time

Contract Duration: 6-month contract with possibility of extension to permanent

Salary: ₦500,000/month and above

As a Business Development Analyst – Export, you’ll be the driving force behind Talenthub’s buyer acquisition and market expansion strategy. You will work with importers, distributors, and retailers of agricultural goods such as green coffee beans, avocados, and other export-quality products. Your goal? Establish and manage a strong pipeline of buyers and close export deals that benefit African producers and global partners alike.

Key Responsibilities
1. Market Expansion & Lead Generation

Identify profitable markets across Africa, Europe, and the Middle East for both perishable and non-perishable agri-produce.

Conduct in-depth research on buyer behavior, global trade regulations, and competitor activities.

Use CRM tools, digital platforms, and data-driven strategies to generate quality buyer leads.

Build and nurture a robust pipeline of prospective buyers including wholesalers, retailers, and niche importers.

2. Sales Strategy & Execution

Develop a clear and actionable export sales strategy to drive revenue and scale operations.

Define product pricing, negotiate deals, and manage international contract processes.

Prepare business proposals, follow up with leads, and convert conversations into export orders.

3. Account Management

Maintain long-term relationships with clients by offering exceptional service and proactive follow-up.

Provide advisory on quality control, packaging standards, and delivery timelines.

Draft sales agreements, shipping documentation, and ensure smooth logistics coordination.

Collect feedback and maintain buyer satisfaction throughout the transaction lifecycle.

4. Cross-Functional Coordination
