Winona is a leading telemedicine company specializing in Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) for women navigating menopause. As a fully vertically integrated organization, we’ve developed our own proprietary technology—ranging from an electronic health record (EHR) system to a patient portal and marketing tools. We operate two compounding pharmacies and have a dedicated in-house team of physicians delivering world-class virtual care.
About the Role
We’re seeking a creative and motivated Junior Designer to join our small, dynamic design team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their design career who’s passionate about health, storytelling, and creating clear, impactful visual content. You’ll collaborate closely with content strategists, writers, and video editors to develop compelling visuals that simplify complex health concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Design engaging visual assets for videos, articles, eBooks, guides, and digital resources.
- Create infographics, diagrams, and overlays that clearly communicate health and behavioral science topics.
- Assist with video storyboarding and visual planning for educational and marketing content.
- Apply and maintain brand consistency by working within our design system and guidelines.
- Partner with team members to brainstorm and bring content ideas to life.
- Continuously improve visual standards and contribute to evolving our design system.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of experience in a visual/graphic design role (freelance, agency, or in-house).
- Proficient in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of layout, color, typography, and information design.
- Able to take initiative, follow direction, and thrive in a fast-paced, asynchronous environment.
- Experience or interest in creating explainer graphics and conceptual illustrations.
- Strong communicator who enjoys cross-functional collaboration.
Nice to Have (Bonus Points!)
- Experience with video production or motion graphics using After Effects or Premiere.
