Role Overview: Direct Sales Agent

As a Direct Sales Agent, you will be a key player in driving Kuda’s growth by actively marketing our financial products and acquiring new customers. You’ll be responsible for building strong relationships, educating prospects, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards—all while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals
  • Market Kuda’s full suite of financial products—personal and business accounts, loans, POS terminals—within your assigned territory
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets by acquiring new customers and growing your portfolio
  • Negotiate product pricing and terms to close deals effectively and within company guidelines
  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers
  • Ensure full compliance with KYC, AML, and all other regulatory requirements
  • Educate customers on the benefits of Kuda’s digital banking solutions and support them through the onboarding process
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions using CRM software
  • Represent Kuda at roadshows, community events, and other outreach activities to promote our services
  • Collect feedback from customers and share insights with the marketing and product teams
  • Understand customer needs and recommend tailored solutions
  • Provide ongoing client support, including training and issue resolution

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Previous experience in direct sales, customer service, or a similar role—preferably within the financial services or banking sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and persuade
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities; capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently
  • High level of motivation, enthusiasm, and goal orientation
  • Familiarity with digital banking platforms and mobile financial technologies

Targets & Incentives

  • Clear monthly sales targets must be met
  • Performance-based bonuses and commissions for hitting or surpassing sales goals
  • Additional incentives for exceeding KPIs and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction

Probationary Period

The first three months of employment will serve as a probationary period. During this time, you’ll receive training, become familiar with Kuda’s operations, and demonstrate your ability to meet sales objectives and uphold high standards of customer service. Regular evaluations will determine continued employment.
