Role Overview
The Remote Tax Consultant will support clients in tax planning, filing, and advisory services, ensuring compliance with Nigerian tax authorities while also assisting multinational clients with cross-border tax matters. The role requires a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a deep understanding of Nigerian tax law and global tax practices.
Key Responsibilities

Provide expert tax advisory services to businesses and individuals.

Prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time.

Advise clients on tax-efficient strategies to minimize liabilities.

Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws, FIRS regulations, and other authorities.

Assist clients with audits, tax investigations, and dispute resolutions.

Research changes in tax laws and update clients accordingly.

Collaborate with accounting teams to align tax planning with financial goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.

4–7 years’ experience in tax consulting, auditing, or related field.

Professional certifications such as ICAN, ACCA, or CITN are highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and FIRS processes.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
