Job Description
As a Remote Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth for AgroLink Digital. You will play a key role in expanding the platform’s market reach, ensuring farmers and agribusinesses benefit from technology-enabled solutions. This role requires creativity, negotiation skills, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the agricultural and food supply chain sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with farmers, cooperatives, agribusinesses, and other key stakeholders.
- Develop tailored proposals and negotiate contracts with clients and partners.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to improve offerings and reach more customers.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales and revenue targets.
- Represent AgroLink Digital in industry events, exhibitions, and online forums.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record in business development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with the Nigerian agricultural sector is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and remotely while achieving measurable results.
