Job Description
As a Remote Legal Associate at LexPoint Advisory Services, you will provide legal advisory services to clients, review contracts, draft agreements, and ensure businesses comply with Nigerian and international regulations. You will collaborate with senior associates and partners while managing client portfolios remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements.
- Provide legal advice to clients on corporate governance, compliance, and labor matters.
- Conduct legal research and prepare opinion memos for businesses across multiple industries.
- Assist in dispute resolution and mediation processes.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian corporate and regulatory laws.
- Work with cross-functional teams to manage risk and advise on transactions.
Qualifications and Skills
- LLB and BL are mandatory; LLM or relevant certifications are an added advantage.
- 2–4 years of experience in corporate/commercial law.
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with Nigerian Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) and other key business regulations.
