Role Overview
The Remote Content Writer will be responsible for developing original, engaging, and SEO-optimized content across multiple platforms. The role requires strong research skills, a flair for writing, and the ability to adapt tone and style based on client needs. You’ll work closely with editors, marketing teams, and project managers to produce polished content that meets deadlines and exceeds expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Write blog posts, website copy, social media captions, and newsletters.
Conduct research to ensure accuracy and depth of content.
Optimize content for search engines (SEO).
Collaborate with clients to understand brand voice and messaging.
Edit and proofread content before submission.
Meet deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously.
Stay updated with industry trends to create relevant and timely content.
Ensure content meets brand guidelines and tone of voice.
Suggest new content ideas and strategies for clients.
Revise content based on feedback from editors or clients.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of professional writing experience.
Strong research, grammar, and editing skills.
Familiarity with SEO principles and keyword optimization.
Ability to adapt writing style for different industries.
Proficiency in Google Docs, Microsoft Word, and content management systems (WordPress).
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Creative thinker with attention to detail.
Portfolio of published writing samples.

Salary and Benefits
WordCraft Media offers a competitive monthly salary in the range of ₦200,000 – ₦300,000, depending on experience. Benefits include:
