As demand for online education continues to grow, EduSphere is seeking qualified Remote Online Tutors to deliver engaging lessons to students across Nigeria. One of the current priorities is strengthening its Mathematics department, which has one of the highest student enrollments.
Role Overview
The Remote Online Tutor (Mathematics) will be responsible for teaching students in an interactive online environment. You’ll be expected to simplify complex concepts, engage learners with creative teaching methods, and ensure that students are prepared for exams and real-world applications of mathematics. This role requires strong communication skills, patience, and a passion for making learning enjoyable and effective.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver live online classes in Mathematics for secondary and early tertiary-level students.

Prepare lesson plans, exercises, and practice tests tailored to different learning levels.

Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.

Use EduSphere’s digital platform to track student progress and engagement.

Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment.

Integrate interactive tools, such as whiteboards and quizzes, to make online lessons engaging.

Communicate with parents/guardians where necessary to provide updates on student progress.
Qualifications & Skills Required

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field.

Teaching certifications such as TRCN or international equivalents are an added advantage.

At least 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience, preferably with online teaching exposure.

Strong knowledge of WAEC, NECO, JAMB, and IGCSE syllabuses.

Excellent digital skills, including familiarity with online learning platforms like Zoom, Google Classroom, or Moodle.

Patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills.

Ability to engage students in virtual learning environments.
